9 nights on snow anywhere in the window from 1 to 13 January 2023, at Copper Mt resort Colorado, voted the best value & best family resort in all of North America, which has some of the best skiing anywhere in the world.

These apartments are 3 star, approx. 50 sq m (10m x 5m) with full kitchen, 2 sleeping areas, private bathroom & can sleep 4 to 6 people in 3 or 4 beds.

They are located only 150m flat walk to a 6 person hooded chairlift (the longest in North America) & a 6 person chair/8 person gondola combination lift in the photo above.

Flights from 10 or more major international airports in California to Colorados 2 international airports + another 3 smaller airports are not included, as many people want to use their Qantas or Virgin frequent flyer points, (from 11,800) to get to Colorado. Copper Mt is located 90 mins drive on 4-8 lane interstate hwy 70 from Denver or 60 min drive on 4 lane hwy from Vail airport.

Alternatively Southwest, the largest domestic airline in the U.S., have just loaded their flight up until 8 March 2023. Fares from California start from only US$59 & include 2 bags, one of which can be a ski or snowboard bag.

Lift passes aren’t included as many people have season passes at Australian resorts, which include Colorado resorts, but lift passes can be added if needed & the good part is one child is free with adult purchase.

Price guide for an adult lift pass when purchased with accommodation like above, with 1 child free is approx USD$99/day, or USD$49.50 each, with a minimum of 2 days purchased.

Of course, accommodation can be extended before & or after & can be upgraded.

If any kids are under 12 years, the international airfare component drops by $60.

Wanting to maximize your time on snow, skiing or boarding ?

Stay in Denver the night of Saturday 31 December & get the early Snowtang coach express to the resort & you can ski up to a whole day before check in or stay at an airport hotel & get a shuttle or Uber to the resort, anytime that suits you on Sunday 1 January.

Then on  Friday 13 January, either check out & head back to Denver or check out and then go skiing/boarding, part day or all day, have a shower at the Athletic Club (free) & get a Bustang coach (4 per day) or Pegasus van back to Denver (Around a dozen times a day)

Stay in Denver downtown for the night & get the train to the airport Saturday 14 January to fly back to Los Angeles to fly back to Australia, the same day.

PAYMENTS

An initial holding deposit of USD$40 is required by the resort.

Then 1 week later, 50% of the accommodation is required. The balance is due before 1 November 2022 & can be paid direct to the resort by credit card. They do not charge a credit card fee.

$1000/person is required for airline deposit, with the balance 1 month later.

Prior to 1 November, accommodation costs are fully refundable, less USD$40 +20% & refunds will be in USD$.

Lift tickets, are subject to price increase if not fully paid by a certain date, yet to be advised by the lift company.

Prices are subject to exchange rate variation.

1. what if we have 2, 3, 5, 6 or more people in our group ?

We can easily work out the additional costs & if you will fit into these apartments or we need to find you something bigger.

2. what if we have a group of singles, no couples ?

Just let us know the bedding required & we will find a few apartments to suit.

3. can we upgrade the accommodation ?

Of course, subject to availability. It will simply cost more. One of the reason for such good prices, is the lift company manages an enormous number of apartments & hotel rooms, so we only have to deal with one entity.

4. can we check in before 3 January & stay after 13 January 2023 ?

Of course, subject to availability. Prices per night before 1 January are double or triple the prices from 1 January. Prices after 13 January are more for the 3 nights of Martin Luther King long weekend, they then revert to similar pricing.

5. we don't want to fly on any of your set international flight itineraries. Can I depart/come home earlier or later?

Of course, simply tell us your preferred dates & we work out the cost.

6. we want to take skis/snowboards. We've heard all airlines are now charging up to $600 return for a ski or board bag.

How much will it cost in this package ?

We have contract fares, which allow an extra baggage allowance included (2 bags 30kgs & 15kgs one of which can be an oversized ski or board bag)

7. can we see actual photos of the apartments ?

8. we'd like to pay by credit card. How much does that cost ?

Most of the accommodation & lift ticket components can be paid with any major credit card with no surcharge (you might want to check if your bank charges international transaction fees). For the rest, a 2% fee applies for Amex, Visa, Mastercard. We will give you a breakdown.

Note the components in USA, the accommodation & lift tickets will always be in USD$. This portion of the package is subject to exchange rate variation. The airfare component is in AUD$ &includes all current taxes & charges.
